Band of Brothers

My favorite scene in the movie, Henry V, dealt with when King Henry was trying to motivate his troops one final time to battle against the French. The words he speaks are so incredibly powerful:

We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;

For he today that sheds his blood with me

Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,

This day shall gentle his condition;

(IV.iii.)

I love the unity and camaraderie in this message. I love particularly how he called them a "band of brothers". If any soldier had had any previous doubt concerning the outcome of the battle, King Henry very effectively diminished all such doubts.
